We believe that the church’s role is to glorify God and to serve those in need. We are a non-denominational, Bible-believing church that seeks to impact our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The government of this church is congregational in form with the oversight of the business and ministry vested in the board of elders.

We believe that our sole basis for faith is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired and without error, so that it is the divinely authoritative standard for every age and every life.

We believe that there is one God eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—each possessing all the attributes of deity.

We believe in God as absolute and sole creator of the universe, and that creation was by divine command, not through evolutionary process. God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinful disobedience. As a result, God, by His sovereign choice and out of love for humankind, sent Christ into the world to save sinners.

We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin; and that He lived a sinless life, in which He taught with authority, did mighty works, and performed signs and wonders exactly as revealed in Scripture. He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins, and was raised bodily from the dead on the third day. Later, He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is head of the church and intercedes for believers and from where He is coming again personally, bodily, and visibly to this earth to set up His millennial Kingdom.

We believe that through His death, Jesus Christ made perfect atonement for sin, and that humans are saved, being justified on the simple and solid ground of His shed blood. This salvation comes through God’s grace and is apart from good works, baptism, church membership, or human effort and is received personally through repentance and faith. This salvation brings the forgiveness of sins, the imparting of a new nature, and the promise of eternal life.

We believe that a true believer is eternally secure; that one cannot lose his/her salvation, but that sin may interrupt the joy of one’s fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of the Heavenly Father.

We believe that all who trust Christ become joint-heirs with Him, and at death their spirits depart to be with Christ in conscious blessedness. At the rapture, their bodies will be raised in the likeness of His glorious body and will dwell forever with Him.

We believe that the Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church and world. He indwells all believers, baptizes, and seals them at the moment of their salvation and fills them in response to confession of their sin and yielding of their will.
